Production AI
Your production. Your rules.
Antique Robots is a film and television production company. AI is one of the methods available to it — used deliberately, under a policy you set, with a filmmaker accountable for every frame.
Choosing the method
The right production method for the shot.
- Live action when it should be live action.
- Practical when practical is better.
- Virtual production when it earns its place.
- Visual effects where the frame requires it.
- AI where it meaningfully improves the production, and nowhere else.
One senior filmmaking team stays accountable across all of it, whichever methods a given picture ends up using.
How we operate
You set the policy
Before work starts, we agree in writing where AI may and may not be used on your production — by department, by shot type, or not at all. That policy governs the job. If you want a picture made with no generative work in it, we make it that way.
Your material stays your material
Scripts, plates, designs and unreleased footage are yours. We do not treat a client's material as an input for anything outside that client's production.
A person approves every frame
Nothing generated reaches a cut, a review or a deliverable without a supervisor signing off on it. AI proposes; filmmakers decide.
Rights and likeness are handled up front
Performer likeness, voice and third-party imagery are treated as clearance questions, not technical ones. If the rights are not clear, we do not use it.
Provenance you can read
We keep a record of how each frame was made, so you can answer a studio, a broadcaster or a guild question without reconstructing it later.
Project isolation and access
Each production is its own working environment with its own access list. People see the projects they are on.
Model agnostic
We are not tied to one vendor's tools. We choose per production and per shot, and we will use none of them where none of them helps.
The right tool for the shot
Live action when it should be live action. Practical when practical is better. Virtual production when it earns its place. VFX where the frame requires it. AI where it meaningfully improves the production, and nowhere else.
These are operating principles for how a production is run. They are not a certification claim, a legal warranty or a description of a software product.

Send us the shape of the production and your position on AI. A producer will come back with a plan written to it.
